Departure from my comfort zone
I’m Yazmin Venegas, and here’s my journey.
From a young age, I was fascinated by design. At just 10, I spent hours creating pixel-perfect art in Paint, driven by the idea that design could impact lives. This passion has shaped my career purpose: to create meaningful, intentional designs that improve people's experiences.
I started in advertising, where I honed my ability to craft visually compelling campaigns. However, I soon discovered the vast potential of digital design. This shift led me to explore how combining multiple perspectives could enhance both business outcomes and customer experiences across digital and physical channels.
My thirst for learning took me to San Francisco, where I attended a UX immersive bootcamp. There, I deepened my knowledge of Design Thinking through hands-on projects and challenges. Today, I apply Design Thinking principles not just in my work as a UX designer, but in everyday life.
